It’s cold outside, and while I’ve grown to love the winter in some regards, it doesn’t stop me from dreaming of tropical destinations while I’m curled up in a snuggie (don’t judge) on my couch with the space heater pointed directly on me.
Lately my mind has been drifting to Costa Rica–to beaches, palm trees, lush jungles, waterfalls, and volcanoes. When I think about a trip to Costa Rica, two drastically different things come to mind: 1. Lounging on the beach reading books and being totally cut-off from society for a few days. 2. Going full-out adventure mode and doing a canopy zip line tour, hiking, and kayaking.
Everything about this small Latin American country seems appealing to me, from the natural beauty to the copious amounts of wildlife. Since, unfortunately, the first chance I’d actually have to visit isn’t until the rainy season (May through November), for now, I’ll just keep on dreaming of Costa Rica.
This looks incredible. Now I’m dreaming of Costa Rica as well. *sigh*
