Paddywagon Tour, Ireland

irelandI’m not much of a tour person. In fact, I spend most of my time trying to avoid tours and experience mainly independent travel, but sometimes it’s inevitable when you really want to do or see something and you don’t have the capability (or budget) to make it happen on your own (especially when you’re traveling solo).

What to do with 24 Hours in Dublin

24 hours in dublin

One of the downsides of attending bloggers’ conferences is that you don’t get much time to explore the actually city in which the conference takes place. In October, I went back to Dublin for the TBEX conference, but was so busy attending sessions and networking that I only had one day to explore the city. So, while I’ve now been to Dublin two times, I haven’t gotten to see a quarter of what I’d like to there. But, I can tell you what I’d do with only 24 hours in Dublin.

Mission Complete: Three Months of Full-Time Travel

Well, my first three months of travel are over! And as you read this, I am en route back to the States, where I will spend just over a month catching my breath, hopefully making some money, seeing my friends and family, and kissing the shit out of my dog. But don’t worry–I’ll also be furiously planning my next round of travels (and as I said, I have a few things in mind–just need to actually take the time to start booking a few things and look at logistics).

In the meantime, I thought I’d give you a rundown of the past few months–the places I’ve seen, quick highlights of the experiences, and little teasers for what you’ll soon see on my blog (because let’s face it–I’ve had a seriously difficult time keeping up with blogging as I’ve been traveling, and I have a lot of stuff yet to put out!).

Upcoming Travel Plans

I’m really excited to let all of you in on what I’ll be up to for the next few weeks!

After a short, but beautiful, two weeks in Scotland exploring Glasgow, Edinburgh, and the highlands, I’m off to a few new destinations!

Up first: Italy!

My first stop in Italy will be Genoa, where I’ll be meeting up with friend and fellow BlogHouse Toronto graduate, Cindy of PointsandTravel! We’re fortunate enough to be staying in the gorgeous suite with city views at the BW City Hotel.

One Night in Dublin

It almost doesn’t seem fair to claim that I’ve been to Ireland as I only spent one evening in Dublin. But it was quite the evening! I had a pretty long layover in Dublin before heading back to the United States after a long trip to Dubrovnik and decided that rather than hanging out in the airport, I wanted to explore as much as I could in a short period of time.
